Terroir

Our successful path began with our ancestors’ dedication to the work and their love for nature in their native wine-growing region of Brda, where we are continuing to successfully build this path to this day. During this journey, Igor and Marijan’s desire to expand their vineyards to the neighboring wine-growing region called Vipava Valley, emerged, as well. They always looked for locations in the Vipava Valley that were already known for viticulture, as they were also bound by the principle of not interfering with the new environment, but only restoring the old or bringing it to a higher level. With the quality of our wines over the years, the dedication and love for the industry, we now take care of 85 hectares of vineyards, both in the Gorizia Hills and the Vipava Valley.
